All this...good graphics! too much for me to handle! too muc

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I agree Wiz; it is very hard to compare them. Consoles have lower resolutions, and no AA or AF. There is not comparison (except to a low-end PC ).

no, wiz, my parents won't "financially" support me and my computer stuff. my dad is pretty much anti-games.

Actually what I was saying is that I just bought a new comp and it will barely last a year before its out of date.

Rule #1 in pc gaming ALWAYS go custom. I bet my $2,100 comp can beat or match your $4,000 one.

EDIT: But alienwares are sweet because there is no cable mess.

Bah I could care less, I have looked into going custom many many times but have no idea how to do it, so I take the more expensive route, if it runs the games and they actually look decent then I dont care how fast it is. My point is that, even after such an investment theres games just around the corner that wont even so much as RUN on it.

I'm in a similar predicament, wolfy. My dad lieks games, not to play (hurts his eyes, he has no reaction time) but to watch me play a round of counter-strike makes his day. Only problem is that technology is not at the top of the list in terms of money. I'm gonna try to get a job this summer (try was the key word there) but I doubt I'll be able to.
