Axis and Allies

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Axis and Allies

I recently bought this at Wally World (Wal-Mart) as the PC RTS and tommorow just so i can run i have to buy some sticks of RAM because A&A takes 256 bites and XP takes up most of it,so if you plan on buying the game, get some sticks of Ram while your at it.Btw it cost me 49.88 USD for it,but it is still less than the board game (75.00 bucks at Wal-mart)

I love wally world!

Never played Axis and Allies, never intend on doing so. to me $50 bucks could just as well be 50 million.

meh, i just wait for the money to come to me as im not old enough to get a real job, i currently have 75 buckaroos saved up 50 of that going to pay for a game i preordered and the rest either going towards another game or a new gfx card.

I'm not old enough to get a real job either, I had a friend who got one last summer. Worked every day for three months and all he had to show for it was about $250 at the end of the season. I made more than that mowing my own lawn!

Back OT: Maybe I'll see how much I can get it (boardgame) for at a discount store...

Ah Axis and Allies...never really interested in games like this, but I got hooked on the board game version back in high school during my advanced history class. Now I own it and come the rare weekend or so that I'm free to play I sometimes get a group of buds to bunker down and play. I love playing Britain or Japan

If I recall the last time I played was almost a year ago...

I've never played the computer game, but the board game version kicks arse!

I have A&A Europe, and I play it with friends all the time. My friends have A&A Pacific, D-day, and the normal versions as well. It is loads of fun to play, and is one of my favorite pastimes.

yeah the board game is really cool...didn't know they made it into a comp game tho. Might not be too bad actually...

I spent days and days playing the board game when I was a teenager. Its superb, but you really need to have a large amount of space where you can leave the board set up for days on end. The longest game we played lasted 4 days.
