Finalday answered it perfectly. Acceptance is living life on life's terms, not mine. It's living with harmony and humility with the world and humanity. I does NOT mean I can't do things to help and change what I can, but it's knowing the limitations of those changes, and accepting that although I might have the best intentions, that I may just be wrong, and accepting that.
Faith is hope, and faith is working for the greater good. Faith isn't necessary a religious thing either. I work very hard raising my kids, because I have faith that my actions and parenting will make their lives better. I also have faith that they will reward me in ways that only another parent can understand.
Without either of those, one is ignoring that the world doesn't revolve around themselves, and that they've ignored that hope for the future is what keeps us going and getting up each day.
That's my short synopsis of the subject.
Again K.I.S.S. (keep it simple, stupid) Simple does not mean easy or lacking intelligence, it means that one's actions toward others is how one is perceived. Remember, the only way any of us can "see" the world is through our own perception. Over analyzing (I always loved that way that word starts with "anal"
and over thinking clouds our perception. Acceptance is removing the fog we create which clouds and distorts that perception.
