"I''m glad I don''t live in" Ohio.... awww, man!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

"I''m glad I don''t live in" Ohio.... awww, man!

CNN can speak for me:

With frigid temperatures forecast for Ohio on Saturday, some 275,000 homes and businesses -- about half of them in Columbus -- remained without power two days after the storm hit, and ice-covered tree branches kept falling onto power lines.

At least two of those homes are people I know, both a matter of yards from my house, but I have power. Here's the CNN Story before I get started ranting. We actually don't have much snow, but there is a sheet of ice covering that snow (and all of the streets, trees, houses...) that is three inches thick. The temps are going to get into the low single digits (Fahrenheit, I live in backwards America) but then, and this is real Ohio weather, It'll be in the 50s F in a few days. More as the weather develops.

That's not cold. Today it was -20 Celsius where I live; that's about normal for this time of year. It's been as low as -52 with windchill in the past. And winter usually lasts 5 months.

So quit yer whinin' boy!

You live in Canada, you're USED to stuff like that. I have relatives in Florida that wear heavy coats when it's 70 F out.

Post Fri Dec 24, 2004 7:37 pm

heh heh Go canadians!

Yeah, quit your whining. We have it light here in southern Ontario, but it still can get as low as -30 or so. Last year, I remember, it was -25-- -40 with the wind chill-- and with about 3 feet of snow. In the middle of march.

As for now, its about -10 degrees celcius and with the windchill -15 to -20. I'm sure you don't even want to imagine what that is in fahrenheit.

i did not use any photoshop on this (except to cut the surrounding page off) whatsoever...just a simple edit of the URL...its fascinating how easy it actually is to name things after they are made
i mean...all teh link is to this forum is a link to the actual forum...and the name is made depending on what the url says....fascinating
did this sig make sense? email me at [email protected] to report my sense!
