"I''m glad I don''t live in" Ohio.... awww, man!
With frigid temperatures forecast for Ohio on Saturday, some 275,000 homes and businesses -- about half of them in Columbus -- remained without power two days after the storm hit, and ice-covered tree branches kept falling onto power lines.
At least two of those homes are people I know, both a matter of yards from my house, but I have power. Here's the CNN Story before I get started ranting. We actually don't have much snow, but there is a sheet of ice covering that snow (and all of the streets, trees, houses...) that is three inches thick. The temps are going to get into the low single digits (Fahrenheit, I live in backwards America) but then, and this is real Ohio weather, It'll be in the 50s F in a few days. More as the weather develops.
