The Cure for the common cold
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

totally agree with the building up the immune system theory, not only with regards to colds. i find that people i know who were too "mothered" as kids end up allergic to everything and suseptable to all kinds of sickness, whereas families that have a more hardy and robust upbrinning are less so.
as for me i just love colds. i get to feel sorry for myself and make out as though i''m dying just 'cause my nose is running
by the way...for all the ladies out there... has it been scientifically proven yet why men always end up at deaths door with a common cold and women just buy tissues and politely sneeze
long live sweeping generalisations

Meh, prevention is better than cur....no wait, there is no cure...prevention it is then
Eat a well rounded and balanced diet - a great start to a good immune system...
Regular excercise etc - the better shape you are in, the better shape your immune system!
When your suffering, do not go to bed in all honesty - as it slows down your system, as it effectively 'ticks over' - which won't help fighting it off at all - get out, get moving, and keep going (erm, don't overdo it though!).
Drink loads of water - you'll need it to prevent dehydration. Common supplements like lemsips etc (hot lemon drinks) are a waste of time and won't do anything. All medication will simply be a placebo to you, so just eat as best as you can - and stay warm...for comfort
