Bloody Hotmail!
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I would like to express my disgust over the service provided by Hotmail recently. For the last week I have been plagued by corrupted zip files (files both received and sent), "Mail Delivery (Failure)" messages and the latest, the "Mail Delivery (Delayed)" message. In fact, I sent an email to someone not long ago and then received a message from Hotmail saying that it was delayed. Two days later, I received another email from Hotmail regarding the aforementioned email, and they told me that it was never delivered. I have had *so* many problems with them lately that, to my shame, I am probably going to have to use Gmail *shakes head sadly*. That being said, I was wondering whether or not has anyone else had any problems with email service providers.
Very true old chums, but I know the difference between a fake message and a real one . Besides, the returned mail quoted my original text which is usually an indication of either a) a worm infestation (not me!), or a proper "return to sender" message. In any case, this is not the first time it has happened *kicks Hotmail server*.

There's only one? no wonder they are having problems...
I had a similar problem, i went to send an email to to one of my school teachers, and it said it was delayed.
Then again, nothing tops it like some one spoofing my email for spreading viruses.
I just got a Mail Delivery Failed: Returned message to sender email in my Junk mail
Supposedly targeted to a [email protected].
It contained an attachment deemed infected, and about 50 lines of gibberish code.
This message has been rejected because it has
a potentially executable attachment "message.pif"
This form of attachment has been used by
recent viruses or other malware.
If you meant to send this file then please
package it up as a zip file and resend it.

Why don't you change to gmx.net ?? They offer 1 GB free space, have (excellent ! and editable) spamming filters and do not send ads (exception: weekly newsletter). Service level is good.
I am not advertising here (had GMail recently ) but I have a gmx-account for years without one single incident.
EDIT: Sorry, they are not providing services for other countries than Germany, Austria and Switzerland. See my post below.

I use hotmail and gmail on the side, where i funnell all of my junk. I haven't had time to enact a full transition yet. My hotmail has a 250mb limit (not sure why all of yours still are 2mb). I believe it had something to do with Microsoft trying to keep up with Googles domination of the internet. Google appears to be the next target to be infected by microsoft.
i hate hotmail, not recently but i hate it. tagging my messages small inbox ect ect. this is why i prefere gmail.
also i think that microsoft is out to get me. i mean there CD's cant even wipe a computer properly like they say.
back on email i think gmail is the best i have seen GMX intrests me though. personally i have been spending to muchy time on computer games then checking email.

@esquilax
My apologies recommending gmx.net here. The service there IS good - but I was not aware that this Germany based company is only providing services for people living in Germany, Austria or Switzerland (i.e. German speaking countries).
I checked it in their FAQs concerning multilingual services - which does not exist ... Sorry again.
