Farcry vs Half life 2

I want to buy one i just dont know which one to buy?
please post which one you think is better

Which one has better Graphics?
Which will run better?(If you dont have a super computer)
which has the better story

Depends on hwat you want from an FPS

you want freedom or kickass physics?

FarCry will give you unbrideled freedom to complete your missions,
while HL-2 is a bit more linear, but is a true FIRST PERSON shooter.

Half Life; better graphics=more demanding on the system

I am waiting a bit for hl2. I'm going for the $80 collectors version

Hmmm, though I haven't finished it yet i'd say Half Life 2 is the more polished of the two and i'd say that Far Cry is slightly more demanding on your hardware. Both are good games but Half Life is just that step above.

One of the benefits of buying Half-Life 2 is that it will have a longer shelf -life than Far Cry
