Good luck playing RTS games on that. As far as I've heard, pain in the goddamn ass to play on big monitors. Though it is very very cool I would love to see Doom III on that sucker. Mine is like a 25 inch monitor I think. But thats like TV size there, I would play my eyes out on GTA: San Andreas hehehe.

yeah. that'd rock. a projector. far cheaper too. but seriously, a 107cm screen? post some pics of a game going on that thing and i'll believe ya.

I triple the Projector Idea. Only problem is to get it perfect, you need a dark room...

projectors aint cheaper than this one (~1800€.
beside that, the brightness of projectors is bad - you need a dark cellar for that, and the resolutions dont go up as high as with screens (proj usually have <=1024*768 - at least in the category where it can be afforded by normal mortals like me).
ah, another con for projectors: the lamps are expensive and dont last very long.
the con of plasma is that the brightness reduces over time - similar to normal TVs - for example using it as a monitor with a lot of static displays (like desktop - taskbar) would burn in with the time - and the brightness of that are would decrease).
bu for gaming/movie watching this one is just perfect
