Time Travel

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Time Travel

Not a "is it physically possible" discussion, because personally i don't think it is, but more interestingly, what time would you go to, where would it be and why? This is of course making time travel possible but meh!

I would go back to the early years of the Japanese Samurai. Something about the whole time period, their beliefs and the country itself pulls at my fascination like nothing else.

I would also probably go back to 1916, two years into the great war. Again a time in human history that fascinates me.

Finally i would go 500 years into the future to what happens on earth just because i'm nosy!

Providing that there were no ill effects of me travelling back in time and I could observe historical events without being killed then I'd spend bloody ages travelling around, so much so I could only list a small amount of places and times I would visit. Jurassic and Triassic Periods, the Trojan Wars, Sladdins invasion, Ancient Egypt, Nero's crazed dellusions, The Crusades, The seven wonders in their original state, Barborossa's campaign, Battle of Trafalga, D-Day, the Seige of Saigon, the opening night of Desert Storm and everything in between.

i'd go back to 9/11 to see if i could get any sellable photos ( yes its ghoulish but a lot of famous photographers did the same thing )

I'd go back to half-way through 5th form and inform myself about certain future events and about myself.

I would go back to when life began, and visit all the major time periods since, like the Permian, Triassic, Cretacious, Pliestocene(spelling?) and after i had taken plenty of pictures and video from those, I would visit all the great battles, and major events like the fall of rome. Im assuming we cant interfere, but if we could i would try and do some good, like maybe stopping the 9/11 attacks somehow, or something like that.

You can run, but run fast.... 1 shot is all I need.

I thought this was another thread about the mechanics of time travel... ah well.

Do you not think thats pretty messed up? Wanting to go back to when 3000+ people died, only 3 years ago and take photos of it so you can make some money? While you're at it see if you can get some Jews to pose for you at Auschwitz?

I think I would go 1500 years into the future. I would like to see if any of the stuff we dreamed up has come to be.................AZAR

first, i would go back about 3 seconds and watch myself leave
second, probably back to about 30AD and watch him live his life out
Then, about 30 billion years into the future and watch the end of it all.
Because appreciation is not appreciating the now, but leaving the content, and maarvelling at the beginning and the end

I'd muck around with history, try to fix things. Of course that'd likely cause as many problems as it would solve but the effort counts for something, right?

And ff, you worry me. Aren't there other historic events you could go for? Like the collapse/destruction of the Berlin Wall, maybe?

Yeah FF thats way disturbing, your thinking way way way too small. Im thinking more like full video equipment here. Big deal, 3000 people, there have been much bigger disasters. I would love to go see the titanic sink, that woulda been awesome. But I think I would spend more time in the future. I would go forward some seriously ridiculous time and see how it all ends, then maybe work backwards and see what caused it and if it can be stopped . Actually, I like disasters way too much, I would probably just let it happen...
