I'd never even heard of LARPing before and after some research, I found out it is called 'Live Action Role Playing'.
It looks kinda disturbing but indefinately fun. Best bit is the guy with the big axe

ROFL, that is wicked messed up. If they are serious the need to seek help, if it wasn't serious then it was a good joke. It would be kind of fun to hit people with swords and axes but if that was serious then...*shudders*

wow, thats just plain messed up, but it looked kinda fun, c'mon who wouldnt wanna bash people over the head with a giant fake axe, or battle a paper mache monster with foam swords? lmao

i have a couple of friends who do all that crazy stuff

they asked me a million times to join (they prolly need more ogres or something

)
im an oldschool RPG fan - pen and paper rocks (since~15 years or something)

maybe ill try LARP, but the equipment is damned expensive...
(grabs grandpa's big axe, ...MUAHAHAHAHA)

I remember a movie that EB posted way back about LARPers. You saw mages running around screaming: "lightning bolt! lightning bolt"!

It looks cool, but not my cup of tea.

maybe we could do one on TLR, all jump into cardboard boxes, spray paint the name of the ship on the side and chuck stuff at each other
