Chinati is very nice. I do enjoy a glass of wine alot more than i do other alcohol especially those nasty alcho-pops. Red Square *shudders*

I am more of a red wine person than white though.

Stating a 'chardonnay' or generic grape name for a wine is not really helping in understanding which wines you prefer. The difference in quality between regions/countries/continents due to weather, soil acidity, sun, drainage, pests, humidity etc etc (someone who knows more about wine than me can tell you) will change the whole flavour/taste/richness etc and make a huge difference.

I don't drink much wine - i used to drink it by the barrel, white - dry as possible, and usually of South African Origin. Did i really look to see where it came from? Nope - I was a student - and not on of those 'noveau' student types - who are 'so cultured daaaaaaarling'

i dont belive that i am legally old enough to drink wine (or any alcoholic substance, for that matter ), but it tastes kind of gross if you ask me.

Keep the wine, just give me some Kedem grape juice, chilled. Best there is. That way I get the wine in an early stage.

one time my friends grandma had kept some grape juice stored so long that it fermented, he took a drink, thinking that it was regular juice, but it wasnt

Chips - I understand what you're saying but, unfortunately, I'm woefully ignorant in that area. Any sort of education - or even a linky - would help.

Meh, forget all that fancy wine and give me a good old-fashioned beer.

Chiantis outside of Italy are difficult to deal with because it is hard to get the better chiantis. You want to make sure that you taste a special reserve chianti if you want to get an idea of what it can be.

A lot of the moderate priced variety that's sold here in the "New World" is cr*p.
