Rossignol is French for nightingale, given how the reviewer was "singing" HL2's praises I found it somewhat appropriate.

goodness gracious, someone who can accurately translate French and make appropriate amusing observations, who's not called "Indy.."

I suppose it's now superfluous to mention that Le Rossignol is also a Stravinsky opera about a nightingale

which is how I knew what it meant; I don't think i've ever used rossignol in conversational french)

Hey, don't get your hopes up. I'm strictly a dabbler in most areas. And you surely have greater life experience to draw upon (I'm only 19 for chrissakes!). You people may just force me to work harder and live up to these praises though and that's definitely a good thing.
