Superman has died!

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I really respected his promotion of spinal cord injuries after his accident.

RIP Mr Reeve

He was the definitive Superman imho.

poor guy. really was a tragedy what happened to him.

I applaud him on what he did for research. I can't even begin to imagine how life for him must of been like after the horse riding accident. Rest in Peace.

thats just too bad, another good soul gone

I still can't believe it. This is one actor that I respected more than most because of how he persevered after his accident. He refused to let a disability determine how he lived his life. My heart goes out to his family and children.

... er.... syntax?

Ten years from his injury 'til his death. R.I.P. Christopher Reeve.

I think the worst is that in recent years/months he could move his finger, and had sensations in other areas of his body. As I read today, you always thought in the back of your head that he would walk once more - but unfortunately we will never know if he could have managed the 'Superhuman' feat..

One good thing about AOL is news i guess
here - I do not know if that will work for anyone else or not...........

tis a real shame may he to were ever we go...

I'd forgotten that he was making rehabilitative progress. Oh jeez. That's even sadder then. But he died of cardiac arrest brought on by infectious complications of pressure wounds. An unavoidable problem when you are bedridden and paralyzed. It is all very very sad. Were I to have been in his shoes, I think I'd have given up a long time ago.

That is what I admired about Christopher Reeves the MOST. He never gave up. EVER. I think he knew that he would never walk again. But he didn't let that discourage him from doing what he wanted to do. THAT, in my opinion, is the definition of a hero. That is what Christopher Reeves was and still is to me.

its amazing i mean i probably would of gotten someone to push me off a bridge, no joke.

He will be missed greatly, imo he pushed forward spinal cord research ten years, it's just a shame he will never get to see the fruits of his labour. He is definately one of my heros.

In death, he became the true superman.
Live on in another life brave soul.
