Anti-matter weapons

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

and if positron has the same mass as that of a proton

It doesn't. A positron has the same mass as an electron. It's a beta-plus particle, if that means anything to you. They actually use positron emissions in some kind of medical treatment, I believe.

kimk, figure of speech

ok since where going into physics here, maby antimatter is what makes up a graviton

Post Sat Oct 09, 2004 4:47 am

No. Gravitons, if they exist, are not made up of either kind of matter. They're similar to photons.

and that's a big if. unified field theory anyone?

Taw, you were going to post some links on some super technology thing?

Is that the one that's going to be ready in 2025 or something? I have an article about something like that and it features nanomuscle augmentation, liquid armor that solidifies on impact and the suit that's powered by an onboard micro turbine.

i can't effing find them. I think they're on another browser. I'll sort it out today *promise*

Speaking of Einstein's unified theory..... I'm not so sure that he was on a fruitless mission.

@graviton theory: whether or not they exist is the clincher on whether or not we will be able to easily manipulate gravitational fields. because if we can do enough research into them to find thier opposite 'anti-graviton' and harness it, well have the ULTIMATE propulsion system

opposite 'anti-graviton' and harness it,

Gravitons are their own antiparticles. They're like photons. You don't get "anti-light" or "anti-gamma rays" from photons.

hmmm.... if i'm right is the background radiation still the sillent remains off the big bang off the past... thus way have the anti-mattter weaps make also radiation in their blast... but a the explosion is off high energy...

around earth (in the atmosphere) comes and goes anti-matter all days, but it's off that small and less that it can heat up a glass off thee with the total enery with comes out off that in a total year...

the main problems stays off how to transfer the anti-matter around... the anti-matter must be consealed in a vacuum package (with is matter) and then, the anti-matter must then also be hold in the middle off the package. magnetic fields are able to hold it their, but are they realible enough and what happends by the launch off the package, will that affect the magnetic field that much that the anti-matter will hit the package itself...

their are many questions around before we/they are able to make a reabile and fully opperational anti-matter weap. would you will be test that weap iff you know that the total building where you do thus tests can be gone in the next sec???
