I should start with the worst game

Probably Superman on the N64...Worst graphics of any game on the 64...One of the missions is you flying through rings...You'd think that Superman would've perfected the art of flight before attempting to save the world...'Nuff said

Gladiator on XBOX...Yuuuccckkk!!! In short, its a game where you play as a Gladiator in ancient Rome...fun huh...But its in the style of a turn based RPG...hmmm

Best Game

Hmmm...Freelancer is definitely the game that has kept me tuning in the longest. Partially because the open-endedness (though it only is actually your choice of what to do after you beat the game) and partially because of the mods, not to mention the months I've spent with my team/friends making a mod.

I also loved Devil May Cry on the PS:2. Gotta love the slice and dice games. Also, infinite ammo with all guns...Always a plus.

Metal Gear Solid is definitely up there. Truly a great game Not all about the graphics like Splinter Cell (not to say that MGS lacked good graphics or that Splinter Cell is all about graphics)

Biggest surprise,

Simpsons: Hit and Run...one of the worst ideas for a game ever, but surprisingly fun and addictive

Biggest Dissapointment,

Devil May Cry 2, saw those previews....Running up walls.....whooooa!! Can say this, good fighting system, on a terrible game. And the monsters look like they came straight out of a coloring book.

there is no best game. there are games that do stand out head and shoulders above the rest though. I'll go with Arch on that score, HL and Flashpoint. I'd add WC series and Privateer for the addictive storylines and gameplay, Freespace 2 and Tie v X-Wing for near-perfect space combat. And Shogun: Total War for the best RTS ever (until Rome:TW)

crocks? there are so so many. I'd go with Daikatana except I was sensible enough not to waste my hard-earned cash on it. That falls to the pure godawfulness of Task Force Dagger, the most-appalling excuse for a soldier sim I've ever played and an insult to the Delta Force franchise, and an appalling piece of rubbish called Strife which was a Doom clone trying to be Thief. And Force Commander, that was utter cr*p too.

Tumb Raider Chronicles
-the game is bloody boring, all u do is run around and solve the puzziles...and there arent too amny enemies...gets VERY boring after some time

Actually, IIBT, i thought GTA:VC had a more decent storyline than GTA3, it was more based on characters than plot, and the addition of tommy is sooo much better to play as compared to... umm... whatever his name was in GTA3. If you do the missions the right way, its a lot of fun, especially where you have to take phil to the hospital and you're high on boomshine...

man not you too...hehe lol I got a friend that in EVERY single conversation he mentioned nov. 9th...for same reason as well. But there is nothing wrong with that...since I cant wait for Halo 2 to come out

BTW, I played halo as well, its only that its been long time ago and by now I got better games

they've pushed it back at least six time now, it just makes me mad how they would say that it was coming out LAST SUMMER, and keep everyone in suspense this whole time, very dissapointing

I have. My brother bought them all. He's read The Fall of Reach and The Flood at least 25 times each and First Strike maybe 15 (he didn't really like it that much ).

Best games:

Fallout 2, that game rocked, even if it had poor graphics...

Freelancer - Together with the previous, kept me playing for the longest time.

Deus Ex - both of them, excellent, I actually bought a new video card just to play the second one.

Worst games:
Daikatana.
