Illness without germs?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I only use a cleaning agent on a dampened cloth on the keyboard and mouse two or three times a year. A good once over with a vacuum cleaner with brush attachment on a weekly or so basis the rest of the time.

I just get a clean rag and spray some household cleaner on it to dampen it and then run it over the equipment.

I'm not so concerned with germs as it would seem you and Esqy may be. I just clean to keep the equipment from going on the fritz.

I still have not found a satisfactory way of "cleaning" the keyboard to my satisfaction. I don't like the idea of using soo much water based liquid to clean up but one with alcohol as the solvent is just as bad imo. What do you use?

I think the "tetanus shot" you get ever 5-10m years.

5 - 10 million years??

air-can with spoingy spoinger - go ask your IT support bods for one. nicely or they'll give you an empty one that sutters.

Bah! Those air cans are a waste of money. Vacuum cleaner is better and more controlled. Besides the aerosols in those air cans are not as benign as you think.

pSYCHO, Typo. Every 5 - 10 years is the time frame the shot is suppose to be good for.

psh what have DPT shots done for us lately ...there have been alot of researchers that think that DPT shots dont actually last for the full 5-10 years that you have in between vaccinations....in fact, in the town I live in (oak park, illinois...just a couple miles west of downtown chicago ) has had the biggest outbreak of Pertussis in years...

I wish I could get some compressed air in cans to clean my KB an MB. There's only one problem; the only cans I've found are more than $15 each! Bloody "Dick Smith Electronics"! *Grumble*

I pay *zero*

That wouldn't be the colloquial "five-finger discount", would it Taw?

Post Tue Oct 05, 2004 5:22 am

@para

Maybe so but if is effective for the first year of two of its injection, the DPT is still worth it. Pertussis may be bad enough for kids when they are of school age but it is a killer with infants.

Also, how do you know that the DPT was ineffective? Nowdays, many parents forego innoculations on the theory that they'd rather not run the very small risk of an adverse reaction and with the assumption that other parents will innoculate their children instead so that their own will be safe enough.

<Edit>

@Esqy,

What discount? And try ten fingers and toes ... More like cartons falling off the back of trucks now.
