PHP:its opening/downloding..not browsing

*sigh* my apache 2.0 seems to run fine untill it tried to run some *.php scripts. its practically opening /downloading the dammed file instead of displaying it in my Mozilla browser. any leads?

...and oh yes the server seems to setup fine and html files are displayed normally.

Right click, open with, choose browser. Check the box that says use this program always.

I did try it. Dint work. even after changing the default open program to IE it does nothing when the file is invoked. the problem is the downloading window opens and asks these options -open- -save- -cancel- -more info- . I cant even browse the it inside my computer.

!) try opening it in notepad
if that dosent work, the only solution may be to delete the file extention key and re-target it

Are you sure that you have the right paths and access rights for the directories granted in the config file(s)?

Ah dammit i understand now.. I only downloaded the php with CGI's and hell its not complete. Many configurations had to be rendered. and redownloaded the full version lol. anyways after a good whole day of configuring i finally get it to work. phew. my head is banging already. thanks for the replies.
