@all the xbox fans:

Xbox 2 wont have a hard drive (MS getting mad about people replacing the hard drive) instead they are giving a 1gb flash card with every xbox. (i hope its jsut as good as the hard drive...boy ill miss it)

good idea, considering its just a console PC of sorts, next mod someone should try is to see if they can port windows into it!

Though I don't have an xbox and have abosultely no modding experience, I thought I'd add to this unusually wide thread... I've heard many stories of people who have done enough modding to run windows on an xbox... though i'm not certain why. How big is that hard drive anyway?

Leonhart - please do NOT use your new sig again, it took 1 minute to load the signatures testing thread due to that thing, and for modems (rather a large proportion of people) it will take ten minutes to load a 3.4 megabyte picture. As cool as it is, please change it!

@chips, it will more than likely take even longer than 10 minutes. 56k doesnt always run at 56k

@spinnaker - fave Tom Clancy book? Mine's either Red Storm Rising or Sum of All Fears... great books... canny beat 'em...

i liked patriot games the most, it was a pretty long book though,
what about hunt for the red october? i saw the movie but thats all.
(and btw, i chose spinnaker because i thought it sounded cool, not because i m like, 70 or whatever.

the HDD is 8 gigs, you can upgrade it to whatever you like, some people have up to 300 gigs, i dont think id ever need that much space, most people use it to store pirated games.

BTW sorry about the pix, i just added a bunch of stuff and a new part is coming in a day or two, so im going to post new ones
