The way I hear it, the next XBOX will be far less susceptible to modification and they are going to do away with the HDD inside it. I didn't even know that an XBOX had an HDD. I wonder what they are replacing it with, oodles of RAM?

@the shroud: Im starting to get sick of your attitude. Leonhart, you too are pushing it. Caps and exclimation marks are not really needed, only if you are really really really peed o at someone. Now, over the years of my life, all 18 of them, I have learned to keep an open mind about everything. Closed mided zealots usually end up either becoming fodder or overtly arrogant. I have to say that everyone said that the PSX was an inferior console to the N64. I would like to direct people's attention to how well the PSX, and the PSone, sold compared to the Nintendo Console. I stand by my judgements, but I also admit that the X-Box is a decent Console, the internal HDD is a neat feature, but it has the potential to send the X-Box into the ground through piracy losses. PS2 piracy losses compared to the previous PSX and PSone have been signifigantly lowered, but with DVD-Rs being introduced, that could change. The HDD in the X-Box has just given hackers and pirates another way of cheating the game developers out of well deserved money. And what is the most pirated X-Box game? None other than Halo, and it would be a shame to see Bungie quit development due to piracy.

Now I'm not a zealot (at least i hope im not) an I will see both sides, But out of all the X-Box games, Halo is the only one that has had a signifigant effect on me, even enough to buy an X-Box. But I'm not made of money, so I'll keep my supposedly "inferior" console, and my "cr*p", "pathetic" and "nothing compared to Halo" games. No matter what anyone says, Gran Turisimo 3 (and 4), Final Fantasy X, Time Crisis 3, NFS: Underground, and Wipeout Fusion will spin without remorse in my "sh*thouse" console.

Back on topic though... That X-Box at the top looks really sick. I might do my PS2 like that...

EDIT: Just a footnote, Sony released that it is not good for the PS2 to be stood on it's side like that, the laser (that l-a-S-e-r) may slide out of alignment... good thing it looks better horizontal... like a lot of things

and no I didnt joke...PS2 is better.

BTW, if I were closed minded I would not say what I did lol. I am open minded and thats why I say what ever is on my mind, and dont really care about consecuences any more.

Peer pressure! Its a wonderful thing I tell ya, it can wake the worst things in a nicest person. @the shroud: add some smileys to jokes. they never go astray, and jokes seem easier to recognise with them.

If I have disposible income, I would rather mod a PC than xbox. It has much more uses and can make use of optics, water colors ect. If you can get a copy, get the current copy of CPU Mag. It as a wild PC on the cover that would be killer to make.
