What would you do with a million pounds?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

What would you do with a million pounds?

Obviously, if your not from the UK, then check the exchange rate to find out how much you have to spend. Here's my little shopping list

- TVR Sagaris (£60k)
- A 4 bedroom house somewhere in Italy (£200k)
- £100000 to the NSPCC
- Clear my debts (£10k)
- A modified Vauxhall Nova with a 2.0 16v Turbo Calibra engine and chameleon (sp?)paint with blue underbody flashing neons, customised Powerflow exhaust system and a phat custom made bodykit (£15k)
- A Ford Sierra or Escort Cosworth (£12K)
- A 1958 Jaguar XK 150 roadster as a restoration project (£50k)
- A holiday to Las Vegas and New York (£2K)
- A better PC
- The rest into my ISA

Get a swiss bank account, live off the interest. Or, convert it into quarters, fill a swimming pool in it, and then frolic in the currency like Scrooge McDuck. That's a pretty sweet life right there. --- VH16

XK150? No Bret, the XK120. Far more classy. Far less gaudy with all that chrome trim.

after securing my family's future by paying off the mortgage and leaving a lump sum for the wife's needs and the kids education, i would use the remainder to go to my favourite part of the world and help out the people who live there.

- The rest into my ISA

Now that would take a while considering you can only put a maximum of £3000 into your ISA each year!

Buy myself a house, nothing to gaudy just something nice and prefereably close to my folks.
New car, under $100K
Tell my boss to shove his job
Go on a world tour with my girl
Invest the rest and live off the interest while I decide what to do with the rest of my life, preferably something more creative than monitoring and fixing networks and desktop pc's (Yawn)

DSQ, you're horable....

Hmm...I would put it all into my savings account and take it out whenever I wanted to buy something kool.

But I would mainly be living off the interest.
