You can get Google in pig latin. Someone had too much time on their hands. Also it comes in Elmer Fudd, ie "Pwefewences"

Pig latin was something that all the kids on my block used when I was 6 as a way to distinguish ourselves from the younger kids. So that they wouldn't understand what we were on about.

I believe that Pig Latin is sort of an attempt at coming up with a name for a pidgin-ish sounding version of Latin which, to the untrained ear seems to be littered with words that seem to end in -ay. I.e. res gestae, senatus populusque, amicus curiae

It's a freakin' child's game for jiminy's sake. What's the big deal? It's really not "code" or anything and requires the mentality of a child to think it's a "language."
