Send Noah to the Moon?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

hmmmm, I think its a great idea from this Doctor, but instead of build a complete repository, just put a few thousand polliticians in cryostatsis next to the repository, so they have a reason NOT to wake us up when we are gone.

I mean, come on, Nature will always have her way, chances are that once the library is complete its going to wiped out by a meteor rain, or the cellular material will be damaged in the next solar Flare (a solar Flare has Radiation levels, up to ninety times the lethal Dose, so it can easily mutate the cell, and DNA material, making it either completely unusable, or worthy of an exhibition at the OoZ at planet htrae, or at least the freakshow.

You see, if nature wants us to be extinct, she'll do the job, and wipe the slate clean.

For the time being though, Dr Foing is awaiting the arrival of Europe's first probe to the Moon.

That mission is due to arrive ahead of schedule in November.

It is the first of what he hopes will be a fleet of robotic spacecraft sent to the Moon.

They would be used to build a lunar colony.

This guy can be a instant scenario writer or can come up with some new space games!

is this guy serious? here is a little fact noone has thought of...he wants to leave just a repository right? who is going to ue it if we are all ashes???...hmmm needs a little re thinking and a little less Sci-Fi

Unless he the technology comes available to build the "Lunar Colony" he spoke of, this would be little more than a great time capsule that some group of beings like 10 billion years later will find...and think is lunch

they would do it so that they eh, freeze people, organic resources, you might call it. and they'll maintain contact with the base. if for whatever reason humanity gets toasted down on the planet, they'll send a signal up by say, an automated beacon, to tell the base to begin defreezing.

The irony is, have this set up, a war breaks out and the "winner" decides he doesn't want compatition and eliminates that source as well.
