Subtitled! Hate it when they do dubbing, completely ruins films!

Thought CTHD dubbing was done very well. Voices matched pretty good.

subtitles are the best way to view foreign language films, unless you understand the language. then the duff translations really stand out.

Ninja Scroll? good fun imo. lovely animationkraft too.

ASE has never watched anime then. Ninja Scroll is possibly the MOST cliched anime. EVAR.

Aside from Final Fantasy

I suppose those Studio Ghibli, N-G-E, M-S-Nadesico, & Serial Experiments Lain box-sets under my dvd player are just gathering dust then, Hel? Funny, I didn't know you've been living in my house and kept records of my viewing habits for the past 20 years

Heltak, I agree with Indy. Everyone has their own personal tastes - so stop ramming your opinions down others throats for once!

Hero was a good movie! I saw it on Saturday. Good plot, and awesome fight scenes. Other than that, it was just really good to look at! Nice cinematography and FX. The only problem was that the plot was a little hard to follow at times. Still, great movie! The subtitles were a good choice, dubbed movies sound awful!
PS- Does anyone else think that the end was a little messed up! Instead of getting shot, Li's character should have beaten the soldiers with like....their arrows....and then....um....run away? I don't know, but there should have been one last fight scene!

I saw the movie yesterday....and I ca say is...TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!

I expected it to be MUCH better....personally I think it was a worst movie I ever saw...

The fight scenes were ok, I think whole "flying" thing is just funny , it looked way to unreal. I am always for martial arts movies where the movies can actually be done. Anyway the movie had potential, but I think whole flashback thing ruined it...

I simply did not like it...

and before any flaming starts, this just shows everybody got a different taste

if FF sez it's good, it must be good. He recommended Zatoichi to me and that was brilliant.

I think that there's a flaw in your logic Taw .

not at all; FF has excellent taste in films, games, books etc, I've invariably found his recommendations to be worth following up. Zatoichi was just the most recent.

I'm talking 'bout FF, not ff; heaven knows what Ben would recommend me to read.. (that's not an opening, ff )
