No, but I want to. I loved Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon too. This one looks to be Jet Li's best movie.

I've seen it. It was one of the best movies of all times. Perhaps even better than Crouching Tiger (Warning: it does have a higher dose of flying about than Crouching Tiger did. Think of it as folktale instead of a movie). Beautifully shot and directed. Pay close attention to Jet Li's first fight against the guy with the silver spear - the rain, the blind musician, everything was awesome! (it was the best fight in the entire movie, and the latter scenes, although graceful, were eclipsed by that first one. Five stars and both thumbs up (coming from me, that is high praise indeed - just ask Taw ).

Oh by the way, stay the frell away from "Warriors of Heaven and Earth". Had potential, but instead it chose to input some religious mysticism and lamest ending in the entire history of the Middle Kingdom, and thus stank to high heaven.

I have it on my comp....erm - the less said about that the better.

Its a good movie - not amazing or incredible, but nicely shot and beautiful again - like CTHD. I won't go into the story at all - its very watchable and enjoyable though!

I'm definitely gonna see it now. I love all that wire-work stuff. If done right, like in Crouching Tiger, it's spectacular. It looks really, really good in this one.

I don't know, Crouching Tiger's a hard one to top in that particular genre.

Its not better, its slightly different. If your expecting it to outshine CTHD, don't. Its still very good - but don't be suprised when you don't see quite what you expect. Sure, some fight scenes are breath-taking, including one which is every bit as surreal as the "fight in bamboo trees", but i still prefer CTHD. It comes a respectable second to it though - it is very good.

CTHD had not only Chow Yun Fat but Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi, all three of whom I believe, deserve many creds for their acting ability in addition to their athleticism.

It would be hard for Jet Li, alone, to compensate for that. But the teasers to the movie are really cool imo. It doesn't have to be as good as CTHD to be good.

There is suppose to be a projest in the works with both Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi staring in it. Caught a bit of the news on TV this morning.

Nah - I don't see that many films like this - so unfort dunno what that film is Heltak. Will have a butchers when i am next...erm.....accquiring some viewing material!

Hero DOES have Zhang Ziyi in it, she is in there alrighty And yes, she is still uber hot!

The performances from some of the other cast are sterling and solid too.

Actually - i have to admit, that i really should see it again, as i recently watched CTHD - hence my favouritism. I think i will come back saying that i consider them as equal - and seeing as CTHD is what i rate to be an awesome film, ya can get the idea about it. I just remember CTHD more vividly at the mo - music included.

Zhang Ziyi is in Hero? Cool I really need to look up these films to find out more about them.
