Game Soundtracks

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Game Soundtracks

Just wondering who else tries to get as many game related songs as possible... cos i just found the Doom3 Theme... awsome stuff... but i realised that i own a lot of soundtracks from games (Quake I & II, Total Annihilation, NFS Underground, GTA:VC, A cool rendered version of the first Doom soundtrack)

Hmmm ... I prefer Aeris's Tune from the FF7 soundtrack ....

The TA soundtrack is pretty good. I also love the theme to Morrowind, the Planescape: Tormet score is brilliantly done.(Took me a while to actually convert the music too) And last but not least, the music on Rome: Total War is excellent, this is the demo I'm talking about.

Friends are just people who have used each other so often it has become habitual.

Both of the Serious Sam tracks are fantastic. As well as a couple of the Final Fantasy games.

Japanese-style RPGs tend to have the best music. I'm talking about most of the Final Fantasies, and Xenosaga Episode 1. The Call of Duty and Medal of Honor: Frontlines soundtracks are also great.

hey kimk, was that the theme by Yes!, or the instumental theme?

I love the Morrowing soundtrack aswell. Its quite nice and relaxing. The SFX are good in the game aswell. Max Payne 2's "Late Goodbye" by Poets of the Fall is a fantastic song. The MP2 music all round is really good. Can't obviously forget about good ol' FL aswell. And i agree with wiz on the classics of GTA:VC. They play alot of the "Flash FM" songs on our local radio station. The original GTA had great songs on it as well.

I like the Painkiller game soundtrack. The music from Return to Castle Wolfenstein is cool too.

"Guns don't kill people....I DO!!"

Yeah, the "Gothic" like intro theme is so bloody awesome in FF8. You hear it a few times again in the game, especially when the/one of the sorceress/' appears. That just gives that feel of..I don't know...good old times. I really like to just play a bit of FF 8 now and then as I just like everything about it (the music, characters, story, everything)...

Although, there are quite a few others I like, escept I can't remember the bloody games name...

EDIT: Remembered: Hells's march is so cool and Total Annihalation as well. Guess what? I#m gonna play TA now

Listen to the Tropico soundtracks by Daniel Indart. It's an up-beat carribean mix that has won several best soundtracks of the year awards. And the game's not that bad either. Anyone here enjoy the Halo soundtrack, in particular, rock anthem for saving the world? --- VH16
