@arania this is very simple. Be the bigger man. Its a computer game character damnit, not a nuclear warhead. Just laugh at the guy. Show him to be what he is - a big headed little spotty oik with no life.

If he didn't hack them(unlikely), then tell him he has no social life and he should probably get a girlfriend. Just don't get pissed off at him and flame back, that's EXACTLY what he's looking for.

and you edited your chars for use in MP? is it possible? i've played diablo for like.... 5 hours until now... dont know alot about it. but i hear there's alot of craze going around.

Erm, just say that you had two options:

1) Hack the files, so that you could enjoy the game whilst still being able to keep your girlfriend happy whislt keeping up with your busy social life

2) Not to hack the file, lose girlfriend, lose social life and become a gaming geek of epic proportions - the type that would have 12 lvl 80-90 characters in a video game.....

Then tell them that you enjoy life, girlfriend and stuff - and your gaming is just a enjoyable past-time which you sometimes indulge in a little cheating in able to ensure you can enjoy the game as a past-time whilst enjoying life!

Leave it at that - no more, no less.....and don't reply to him after that either - shows you hang round forums alot more than someone who proclaims option 1 would be able to

Just say you don't care anymore and play the game. These things are designed with one goal in mind, to be played and enjoyed.
