SP2, bad news for gamers
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

To hell with SP2. And I've pretty much said to hell with SP1 as well. I'm running a dual-boot system on my computer with Windows 98(for my older games which WON'T run under XP, despite the Win98 compatibility mode),and XP. I access the Internet through Win 98. So, I don't have to worry about security issues with XP.

"Guns don't kill people....I DO!!"
And that is the point of my rant.
If you know what you are doing like Taw then you already know if you need SP2 or not. If you don't know if you need SP2 then you should be downloading and installing it ASAP.
As for work you should be installing on every machine in sight, because we all know what kind of SEU's we have at work.
I will admit that I have a separate system at home that is only for gaming and it will never have anything on it that will negatively alter my gaming experience.

I guess there must be an early corporate release of SP2 because I was finally upgraded from my W98SE proprietary setup to XP Pro overnite last nite.
Needless to say, my overworked IT guy effed up. He did not set up my e-mail client correctly and I've been without contact apart from using my Blackberry all day.
Odd. Sitting at a desk in office and only using a small PDA thumb board to stay in touch with clients. People thought I was maniacally playing a game all day today.

You'll come to the dark side soon enough and install SP2 like the rest of us.

Ha! Shows what you know Stinger! You'll never take me alive!
Edit: Well it didn't take long, but two security vulnerabilities have been discovered in SP2. Just thought I'd mention it. *Walks off shaking head in disgust*
