Warhammer 40K: Dawn of War open beta

I was recently allowed to download the open beta for DoW after waiting in line for a couple of weeks. I have to say it's frickin' good. Everything from unit animations to the way the terrain is affected by damage done to it has been done really well. I have yet to find something I dislike about it. Attention to detail on units is great too, watching as the Ork Warboss picks up Space Marines and throttles them in a bloody mess is very entertaining. My question is though, has anyone else got the beta?

How can you not have heard of DoW? Its a RTS made by Relic (makers of Homeworld) and it loots damn good.

Meh, it looks ok and is an interesting approach for an RTS, but we'll see what the reviews say.

Heltak, that didn't make sense. Why would you RP them? In fact, why would people be afraid of RPing them?

I play warhammer & 40K, and you do RP with them in a sense, and
im not a idiot.

Im looking foward to dawn of war, kinda skeptical cos THQ is involved
and they didnt do a great job of fire warrior. Anyway i cant be bothered
downloading 600mbs

Do you play 40K fisch?

It started as that and is still that. The Rules and Games are for IDIOTS that can't appreciate art.

Yeah, I play 40K, I haven't played in a long while though, and I can't be bothered painting all my orks. I'm really lazy like that. The game will be an RTS Neo. Having personally played it, I have found it great. There are some minor things that need to be adjusted but apart from that it's fine.

@Heltak, don't you have some spells to cast or hexes to place on people or something? If you want to badmouth Warhammer, make your own thread.
