Internet Explorer Problems

Strange this. About 1 week ago my internet explorer stopped alowing pop ups. When i say that , it doesn't block them as in the don't come up, they pop up but don't load. For example, on TLR, if i click on my profile in a thread you usually get a pop up that gives you details. Mine just pops up, opens the little window, but nothing appears. Any ideas? It causes all sorts of problems because links that open up new windows won't load either.

Get Mozilla, even though it puts you back to stone-age internet exploring, it's still good and does have a few good sides (like fixing that).

How about smacking IE?

Apart from getting Mozilla/Firefox, you can download Spybot and Ad-Aware, delete all your Cookies and Temporary Internet Files or failing that, download IE again from the MS Download Center.

Much easier just to get FIrefox though. It will import your bookmarks, blocks unrequested popups and you can do OH so much with it.

Just as a little sidenote, use norton to scan the Windows folder. The other day I found 3 trojans in it. 3!!!!!! (I dunno where I got them, probably got through spybot)
