What is love?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

What is love?

Love seems to be around a lot lately and we even had a discussion(sorta) on what it is. Or some had, now I'd like to see what do you guys define as love, when do you really love someone? How do you know that it is love you're feeling?

Very deep question sw

Love is to difficult a feeling to describe. When i was, seeing her made me smile, i use to get a strange feeling in my stomach and when you lose her, you realise how much you have taken her for granted. And it takes you a very long time to get over them.

Doesn't really make much sense any of the above. I do think though its different for everyone.

Proper love is almost impossible to define accurately. That's half the whole thing - it's an intangible thing, you can't quite put your finger on it. Trust me on this, I've had a fair few attempts at defining exactly what it is I feel but never fully succeeded.

As for how you know when you're in love with someone: you just do. You're going to have to trust me on this, when you fall in love with someone, boy do you know it.

I'm not talking about falling in love with someone, that is easy to know, i'm talking about how you know when you love someone.
There is a huge difference between being in love with someone and loving someone

Different it may be, but what I said still stands, you know when you love someone. There is a special joy you get from just being with someone you love, and you recognise it from the first time you feel it

You just know when you are in love.

haha, its true, its such a cliche but when you love someone you just 'know'. the first time it happened to me i totally didnt realise it was love either, thought i was ill or something.

Love is stupid in a way, you cant control it, you cant stop it you can only guide it. For me i get a sort of hardening in my gut, as if all my internal organs turned to rock..it f**king rocks!

Well said, that man

It's a clarification for all the hormones and neuron firing when we're with someone.

It doesn't exist.

I'm not really sure. Is it a chemical reaction, to make sure our genes get passed on? Is it truly an emotion?

love?!?! sounds ghastly

There is a book that discusses it in detail, but can not be used here for reasons. You propally have read it sw. KJV is one version.

Love is a very good thing. It is stronger than most anything else and can overpower reason, logic, hate, and can sustain a person when no food is available. It is an amazing thing.

Post Sun Aug 01, 2004 5:37 am

Yea I've read it, no better example of love can be found than the love described there

can sustain a person when no food is available

I'd Like to see how long people can survive out of love . Anyways im not doctor love nor i have been into any serious realtionships b4. since Love is so blinding, most elders opress kids from having it early in their stages to keep them from themselves. well, not a very good plan anyways but if the wole community acts that way, than poor you...

Love is not blind
being in love blinds you, love however sees all mistakes, but learn to live with them
