A friend of mine once tried to hypnotise me, it wasn't a plesant experience. He had gotten some book that explained some basic techniques. He got me under just fine, made me do some things that I wouldn't have normally been able to do, and we all had fun (I had some other firends watch). Problem was, he didn't snap me fully out of it, he messed up somewhere. Result was that I was extremely supceptable to commands made by anyone for about a week until he realised what happened and paid a professional to get me out of it. It was about a year ago, and I still haven't fully forgiven him. Although the experience itself was quite pleasant, like you just melt away, leaving your shell of a body to do whatever it pleases, very relaxing, for about 5 minutes. I went up with a stage hypnotist some yaers ago and he had me doing all sorts of silly things, but I'll let you into a secret - you aren't hypnotised at all; it's just showing off! an excuse to have a lark and behave stupidly and be the centre of attention but blame it all on the hypnotist.

I especially hate these people who blame their own failings and ineptitudes on being "abused" by a hypnotist; there was bloke in the papers some years ago who tried to sue Paul McKenna 'cos he'd lost his job about a year after being hypnotised by yon Paul. T*sser. What a total loser.

I suffered ni ill effects from being hypnotised, it was all a big laugh.

i was hypnotised to try and cure the migraines that i suffer from on occasion (it didn't work i still had them till i saw a Chiropractor)

i want to learn hypnosis too !

1500 quid? pfft thats pocket change considering most courses cost 23,000 or so.

It didn't work very well when it was tried on me by a professional *shakes head*.

hypnotism doesn't work on the skeptical, esq. im proof. I cannot be hypnotised. a professional hypnotist came to my school once, and asked a few of us to act as volunteers, me being one, trying to prove him that i could not be hypnotised. and i was right. everyone else went under but me. yay! im a freak of nature!

i always wanted to take a course in hypnotism, but i cant be bothered.

i wish 1500 quid was pocket change for me. pocket change for me is 10p. Even then i'm lucky to have that. Taw, what strange things did the hypnotist make you do?

he didn't "make" me do anything, it was all just a lark; eating oniuons and pretending they were apples (i like onions btw) pretending I was asleep with my Mrs and it was some other bird from out the audience, being a male stripper, all that sort of stuff.

does anyone actually know how to hypnotise people? cos i wanna screw with some peoples heads.

I saw Paul McKenna on Top Gear about a month ago he absolutley flew round the track in the suzuki liana. For anyone who doesn't know Top Gear is a motoring programme from the BBC, they get to test supercars and even normal family cars.

you just "think" he flew around the track, in fact he didn't go anywhere
