My Stag

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Jeebus Grom, I pride myself on having a stomach built for booze but even I would've been blasting chunks after that effort.

The only question now is, how much of your story is true?

why on earth would I make this **** up?? Its all true unfortunately...and today is the first day that my head has felt semi normal. I think I must have had a little alcohol poisoning because I felt very very rough yesterday.

The better question would have been - what have you left out?

@mustang - I normally wouldn't be able to tolerate this amount of alcohol, but when you drink solidly for 36 hours (with a 4 hour sleep), you get to a level of drunkeness and stay constant. It never seems to get any worse.

After the afternoon drinking session we discovered a pub that was offering a double vodka and coke for £1.80....so I had 7 of those as well during the night. Its just odd how your body adapts after a while. I'm sure Taw knows what I mean.

Grom - You know my old saying "trust no-one". Do I really need to go into more detail? Well, it sounds like you had a good time (I guess). Why didn't you just sit around with some Earl Grey and discuss Kant? *Shakes head*

Post Wed Jul 28, 2004 3:33 am

lol. I understand that you "trust no-one" esky, but why on earth I'd want to make up a story about ritual self-abuse is beyond me. Surely, after publicly crapping myself in advance (in my first post), if I was wanting to embelish I would have written stories of great female conquests, extraordinary feats of strength, matters of honour and deeds of respect? Not - "yeah they got me hammered" - that makes no sense.

Sheesh - believe me or not, I don't care. I'm expecting some photos of the beer festival, the half pint of whiskey and the flipper olympics any day - I'll post a couple of censored ones.

You do know that the world is round, right??!

Grom - Let's just say that I rarely take anything at face value . In any case, you might have made up the tale for the purpose of amusing us. I am not of course, suggesting any such thing, but you did ask why you might make it up!

Earth? Round? I thought that it was a rhombus!

lol. jeez you really don't trust anyone do ya Anyone who's ever been on a UK stag night would know that mine was pretty lame in comparison - I got away with everything intact (apart from a bloody mouth and a massive bruise on my right arm anyway) - which is totally unheard of.

ok, I'll post a few piccies when they arrive - there will be some heavy censoring though, I don't particularly want people to see the three different outfits that I had to wear....and I imagine that a few of the photos won't be "suitable for a younger audience" if you know what I mean

Just for the record though - I've never lied on TLR. Everything I've said here is 100% true to myself, this is one of the only places that I can be truly (and often brutally) honest.

Post Fri Jul 30, 2004 12:10 am

I can respect that; I don't lie on TLR either. People keep telling me that I lie really badly, so I hardly ever try anymore. In fact, I'm so honest that I often end up inadvertantly insulting people .

Post Fri Jul 30, 2004 12:16 am

don't feel bad, I'm dishonest and still insult people.

Post Fri Jul 30, 2004 12:37 am

I'll strive to be more like you every day Taw .

Post Fri Jul 30, 2004 2:18 am

and they say I have low aspirations..

Post Fri Jul 30, 2004 4:10 am

Could you imagine, 2 Taws here on TLR? Would that make Esq a "mini me"?

Post Fri Jul 30, 2004 5:05 am

lol. there can be only one

Post Fri Jul 30, 2004 8:13 am

Ok, a historic moment I believe - this is the first time that TLR members have seen the modern gromit....

Is that a legal move the other guy is doing to you in that Flipper-Roman wrestling shot

<Edit>

Esqy's only talking about the Fleet Admiral thingy. Don't let your head get all swollen there Taw. Or is that the candy that your gorging on that's doing it?
