lol, yes I wondered who would be thie first to spot that. See how I provide you with humour opportunities? I'm one hell of a guy...

what I meant of course is that Bronwen (me then bird) and me would sit in Rev Tolkien's vicarage parlour for the afternoon and look at his JRR memorabilia while him and Phil the botty-bandit would take a leisurely stroll in Madeley Woods for a couple of hours.

I really enjoyed the films, and whizzed thru the first 2 books, but i am having difficulty with the 3rd. i find that all 3 have too much detail for me, as i like books that are easy on the brain. I started the silmarillion, but got bored because the start is all about the family lines, like the bible (which is totally boring).
