I was gifted the ROTK game for PC for christmas last year. That, and the movies brought the books to life for me (which i read beforehand). The game was an absolute blast. I'm a few leves away from beating it on hard, but the two bonus levels are grueling. Anybody got tips for those?

Although the movies are great, I'm now surrounded by phonies who only started liking Tolkien after they went to see the movies. The haven't (and refuse to) read the books, and keep telling me that "you got it wrong" when I explain things to them! *Shakes head*

Tolkien trivia - T's grandson (Christopher's son) was a vicar in a village very close to where I live, only a few miles away. He was bent as a bottle of chips, and had an on/off thing going with a bloke who was the business partner of a girl I was knocking off before I met Mrs Taw.

They ran a nightclub called Freetown, and it got into financial trouble a lot; so they used to get their chum to spend some quality time with Reverend Tolkien in the local woods, and come back with a few thousand quid.

Yeeaah, shake it, baby!
Seriously tho, you do a lot of head shaking lately... Don't do that, jiggling your brain won't help you get rid of all those nasty voices in your mind
Or maybe you just have something in your ear...?

I know I do that a lot Chet, but it's a great form of expression. It says so much without words!

And you leave the voices alone! They're my friends! At least, that's what they tell me...

Taw, that made NO sense at all. Speak English please I caught half of it and the other half rambled.

pretty much; the club needed the money and Rev Tolkien needed some hot botty action, so poor Phil got some orc mischief inside him but one time when we'd dropped him off for his 6 monthly rogering, Rev T invited us in and we got see some of his dad's original drawings for LOTR. booyakasha!

I saw the movies, read the books and the Hobbit, and the Silmarillion. I'm a big fan of Lord of the Rings. I've got the DVDs and I've got the Return of the King PC game. I've also got the Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack.

I didn't have to do anything but sit down with me bird and take a look, poor old Philip was the one fated to partake in uphill-gardening. I think he q enjoyed it really. We thought it was hilarious.

as For LOTR, I enjoyed the movies, I have the books all bundled up, but I haven't read a single letter from it, far too busy with other things
