If she is a "friend" and you don't want anything romantic then get her exactly what you would get any other guy who is your friend. Buy her a beer and/or a lap dance. Other then that why are you treating her as a friend differently then you would treat a guy that is your friend.
If you are hoping things will turn romantic then stop being her friend.
Ask yourself this - would one of your normal guy friends ask you to get them something for a birthday? or would you go out of your way to ask complete strangers what you would get one of your guy friends? - if the answer is yes then you can look for something for her - if the answer is no then you should rethink your friendship.
