Freelancer sound stimulates brain

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Freelancer sound stimulates brain

There is extra stimulation in the,Adrenalin, plesure, addictive and other fun sections of the brain by Freelancer sound. Those are the common ones that seem harmless. Fear and Fight or Flight can be controlled, but only to a limit. Ever get so into a game that, as an example, Lets say you are playing A very realistic ground based footsoldier/shooter, like "Call of Duty" or "Vietcong" and the sound stimulates the flight or flight ( all one ) section and by impulse, in a split second you are in the prone position, covering you're head waiting for bullets explosions and more bullets to happon awayfrom you're position. Well in Freelancer, Flight or flight is more contaied inside you're head, wich leads to stress for the most part, but also folly you're proformance. I have felt an impulse to trade, trade and trade even though i had more than 400,000 credits ( in the storyline ) It is the sound of credits flowing into my account, sevral things, addictive, plesure, and the area that has, Valor, greed and the Breakthru sect. The combat music, the more exotic and "cool", it is a very helpful stim in combat. But, sometimes when you are not, and the combat music is playing anyway, adverce, you may get tierd. Also, sound + some particular visuals = Hormones and stuff like that wich can be tourture, and or effect behavior. These have been a few ( a few compared too how many other sight, hearing, brain, sikie and mental effects ) on the Humans from Freelancer ( No offence to nonhumans ).

Better Sound = Better Immersion

What was your question ?

Post Sun Jul 18, 2004 11:54 pm

the only thing i found immersive about freelancer is when the music changes and becomes quicker, then i say: oh cr*p, incoming hostiles!!!!

the game becomes immersing when im sitting there writing down cargo prices for bases and the prices they sell for at other bases in the current system and calculating what is the best back and forth trip for trading short distances

When in combat you feel stressed and this impairs your performance. The sound of credits 'flowing into your account' gives you the urge to trade more and is causing you to gain an addiction. If combat music plays when you're not fighting you get tired, and the sounds in Freelancer are making you release hormones.

Sorry, I'm confused. What's your point?

People have it all wrong these days, instead of discriminating and hating others for being black or ugly, we should practise fairness and hate every living thing equally.

he's just saying that freelancer sound and music stimulates his brain. a statement that he wants to make known to the general public.

Of course, the 5.1 Speaker Surround Sound Sytem (with SoundBlaster Audigy Gamer card) helps.

The SpaceNuts always return.
