Yea but i still want to know, is it considered advertising or not?

Each admin has their own personal views upon what is advertising, and all use their own judgements upon threads etc. Its actually best that way, cause it offers a very wide range of views and points. Some may say it lacks consitancy, but personally i find it totally covering on all aspects (ie, they make up for my deficienc.....oh wait -i'm perfect ).

So - MY viewpoint of advertising is this:

Advertising is when you openly create a thread or post that specifically identifies a product of which you have a vested interest. This doesn't mean "I love this game" or "great movie", but DOES mean:

"these forums are cool - you should check them out"

"We have made something that is really cool, and you should check it"

"I am a member of this game clan, come and join us"

"come register at my forum"

"come register on this site, it has cool stuff"


There are others, thats just what comes out at this present moment. Of course, Wiz, Eraser, Baked, Stinger etc all have their own measures by which they judge what the content is about.
