well i think its the end of the line

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

yep my hard drive is going downhill as i type right now. i noticed today that my hard drive space was 92.1mb, so i finally sacrificed things, and i only managed to bring it up so much. some programs when i got rid of them, my hard drive space only got lower. and it keeps going down every once in awhile, without me downloading anything or deleting anything. last i checked it ws 375mb, now its 361, and it keeps going down in a slow fashion like this. im afraid to say that my hard drive is officially dead now.

now, taw, what were those kind of hard drives u said that never failed you? i will need to know that when mine goes

*Rolls eyes* You have been telling us about your stuffed HDD for months now. If it's so bad then just replace it, sheesh! And why not use the search function if you want to check Taw's recommendations? He posted them in the other thread(s) *Walks off shaking head*

you do realise that he is so inept that he may very well poor water over the HDD to see if the worm comes out...

That and do a defrag after you run a disk clean up program. Windows XP has one. You might have more space than you know.

If you need a replacement, Seagate drives are very quiet and provide good performence. One of the fastest non-SCSI drive out there today is the Western Digital Raptor (74 G. Maxtor or any reputable manufacturer will give you great performance too.

well western digital was what my last 3 hard drives were....(i recently found out this is a different one) and they dies within a year. this has lasted much longer..but still...and ive been wanting to get a brand new one, but my parents havent let me yet, and they know its almost dead. i have a hunch that they dont want me on my computer anymore...

Motive : To get Wolfy off the computer.
Opportunity : When Wolfy is in school.
Means : Screwdriver ?

There you go Detective Wolfy, take that to court, and sue your parent's for damages ! You'll be able to afford a new computer then ......

how about prying him off the computer with a crowbar, unless he has become fused to it.
