i dont suppose anyone can help me with this: im on race 84/111, its a ;ast man standing style race, ive recently unlocked the nissan skyline, but no matter what car i choose, i cannot win, i can come second easily enough, anyone know what im doing wrong?

What's the track name? Terminal Reverse? Just keep practicing and restart. Unless your first for most of the race your doomed.

i got past that, but now im on a drift mode, and the car is sliding all over the place, its even worse than normal >.<

I've found the skyline is no good for drifting, you might want to swap
cars, i suggest the lancer.

if your having trouble, and its at this point in the game where the damn handicap kicks in, just de-tune your car's turbo, engine, ECU, and NOS back to stock. You'll find that its easier to win, but put it back to full when dragging and drifting.

And for a drift car, use either a 240SX or an Eclipse. they were my staple cars along with my skyline.

I must have spent at least six hours on that one race, the trick is to just restart if you screw up even once. eventually it will become like second nature and your hands will automatically do the race without you having to think about it.

my staple car for most of the game was the miata and the rx7.
