well we where on\mnivores true but brain wattage? well the scientific theory was that are ancestors as being scavengers lived in africa etc and the drying out of the desert meant that we became to eat dead carcasses (such a glorius history we have) and bone marrow which only we could make tools to get to and bone marrow has like 50 times more protein than normal meat and veg so that how we started to evolve. Or then again you could be a creationist and belive god created everything but obviously couldnt make up his mind what we should be like and created several versions of us or whatever.

brain wattage = j/k term for intellect.

Actually, there are carnivores with a bite powerful enough to crush femurs to get at the bone marrow quite handily. Chimpanzees, bonamos and baboons also eat meat. There is some evidence that gorillas also eat meat but it is not undisputedly proven.
