I am about to make Print sreen of my website for creating System's User Manual. The problem is, there is so much items need to screenshot. Is there a Program to make a screenshot named automatically every time i press Print Screen? Doing a Print screen and paste is quite a hastle especially for large systems.

argh i'm never gonna get paid, Goodbye a million credits

if you can get hold of Corel Capture, thats one that saves to files in a sequecial order. but you may have to pay for it.

just keep pasting them into paint/photoshop as you take em and then click "save as" and type in the name and navigate to where you want. Rather than spending alot of time searching for software to make it easier on yourself, get on and do it. Without wasting time for a small shortcut you will actually have it done and dusted WAY before you could have even downloaded the software....

chips hit it on the head. I have to do this a lot - line up photoshop with a new file the size of your resolution and then "printscreen" - "paste" - "printscreen" - "paste" - repeat as necessary. You'll end up with a photoshop file with sequential layers of screen shots.

And here's the handy bit. If you DON'T move your browser when doing this, each layer will look exactly the same but the contents of the browser will be different....so marquee the browser area of one of the layers and crop. This will leave you with a perfectly cut out sequential photoshop file.

Piece of p*ss - I reckon you could easily do 100+ shots in an hour, depending on your computers speed.

*whines*

But that's too much work!

That's the way to do it Grom, but I've noticed that people like the purty colours and big shiny buttons in specialist software .

hehe I reckon you could be onto something here. Maybe we should deconstruct photoshop and work out a way to apply "skins" to it We could make a fortune!

Adding skins to PS, hmm... bah, it's probably been done .

Anybody have Lotus Smartsuite? It has a screencam app that will take screen shot stills or record movement on the screen so that you can make your own CBT.

Screencam

Smartsuite is pretty cheap. Often got bundled for free with IBM products. Look around and see if you know anyone who has an unused Smartsuite disk gathering dust.
