Poll regards to something I''m writing

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Poll regards to something I''m writing

Ok I've got a few things either written or being written. All of them serious RPGs or adaptable to the task. I'm wondering what sort should I go for to try here?

Choices - A) C) D) E) F) Note these are short summaries

A) Just Then

It's a funny thing when the worlds going to end in five days nd you can't do nothing for it. No way to stop it, no way to avoid it, no chance to outrun it, least not since the last colony ship launched. No-one knew why the world had started to die, no-one knew a way to stop it, and now it's happening all too soon. Alot are with their families, whether true or adopted, those that could have left. The only people this leaves are the Wanderers, what can they do in five days together?

Always

When Eskartine stepped into the Temple her life changed forever. A clash of energies, one side hers, and the pre ordained destiny that she broke, the other the Temples, a cold malignant energy waiting for release. Time shattered, histories changed, Empires rose and fell in a moment.and in some places simply stopped. Now Eskartine lies encased on the Temples steps and the few inside and outside of time must pick up the shattered pieces before all is lost.

D)
The town, the memories, the Shadower, the wanderer. Heltak would vivedly remember this as the first time he encountered the malign force which poisoned the world, Shadows able to assume almost any living form slowly subverting the nations to war. Together Jorlandi and Heltak vow to destroy this plague upon the land, joined by a strange pair and another ally they set out, the fates awaiting them are closely vieled. <CHARACTER RPG>

Yes I know it features my name but meh shoot me. And the vowing is explained in any backstory

E) Nothing Comes for Free

The only words to describe this are

DIVE DIVE DIVE HOT YOUR BURNERS PILOT

But much larger and with more emphasis on people (NOT FREESPACE 2 related)

F) The Edge of Winter

This one is hard. The most complete I have. It's a tradgedy between characters mainly in a social relationship WHILST looking for an end to a centuries old winter. Hard to explain.

well all that sounds kinda groovy Heltak, but still a tad vague and no i don't have any idea what vowing is; I don't play rpgs and I don't read fantasy, and it sounds like something out of your twilight dragon-filled world. However as your a clever chappie I'm sure it will be worth reading so keep me posted

btw I'm not in it so it must be crap! (j/k) how about the Thief, Heltak, steals an ancient amulet of the Elder Gods that he's supposed to give to his Guild masters and their clients, but he can't resist the temptation to try it on himself, having heard so many stories about it, and accidentally summons forth its powers which improperly directed alter the fabric of time and space and recreate the world as not one of magic and chivalry, but a technological grey communistic horror presided over by the Dear Leader Comrade Tawakalna, and Heltak, thief and assassin, must make his way in this new strange unmagical world to recover the amulet and set everything right again.

Taw... that actually sounds quite good if ripped from the Metal Age slightly. Gives me an idea.

Vowing is like pledging a sort of bond to do something. Ie Frodo vows to destroy the One Ring

And NCfF is space not fantasy. I could probably write a non fantasy one either social or more "action"ish if I tried. However most of mine are very serious and I do actually require characters predone so I can review em. Maybe I should go get GAWS LAWS too.

Hmm looks like good writings but I already forgot what i read nothing to do with the way it was written btw

Of all things that are, the most ancient is God, for He is uncreated. The most beautiful is the universe, for it is God's workmanship. The greatest is space, for it holds all things. The swiftest is mind, for it speeds everywhere. The strongest necessity, for it masters all. The wisest, time, for it brings everything to light. -Thales

actually it came out of my own head but probably whatever it is you're referring to I've absorbed by osmosis from all that stuff of my daughter's, she's into all that stuff.

I know what "vow" means as a regular word in the english language, i just wondered if it had some special fantasy rpg meaning that was substantially different. Who's Frodo btw?

oh btw, "Edge of Winter" def sounds the best, a centuries old winter is a crackin setting, you could do another Canticle for Liebowitz except sf/fanatsy style.

The winter one sounds interesting. So what was option C? It's missing from your list.

Off-topic: @Heltak, seeing as you seem to be heavily into Thief 2, perhaps you can help me. I'm on the "Casing the joint" level and I can't find that bloody clock piece, I've checked all over the ballroom looking for it. Heck, I've gone up and checked up among the rafters, it's nowhere to be seen.

Ugh Casing the Joint. That's a ***** Rescu. I'll have a look tonight, hopefully my save is still there.

Uh C) Similar to D) but not as kingdomly more a party of adventuerers, the weakest of the 5

I've never played Thief, I've told you that before; an oversight i intend to correct in the near future (after I've captured Moscow > Panzer General)

The secular Winter is the best? IMagine secular snow that hides entire cities or structures, and even a fire can unveil ancient secrets.

I'm Italian, I can't cook pizza, I can't play the mandolino and I'm not related with Mafia.
