Evil Neighbours

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

I really wish you wouldn't talk about my mum like that, Esq.

She moved down to Hamilton dark_reaper.

People have it all wrong these days, instead of discriminating and hating others for being black or ugly, we should practise fairness and hate every living thing equally.

ah good, miles fromme. we are getting new neighbours soon so you scared me a bit there.

This is part of the reason why i am going to move to Canada, and eventually become a hermit. Some people are really nice, but neighbours who don't like you are more malicous and vindictive than I thought possible. I have to say that society in general makes me despair, and although I used to be a pround brit, nowadays i have very little loyalty to the country left, and just want to get the hell outta here!! As soon as its either:
A) financially viable
Good enough prospect for employment overseas

i will be off

Not saying Canadian Cities will be different, but from my shore side cabin on lake superiour......i think my neighbours (the bears) will love me dearly. Besides, if anyone starts anything.............well - i have a shovel

Post Fri Jun 25, 2004 3:20 am

so what are you going to do in your log cabin in the wilderness of Canadia? a trapper or a lumberjack? will you keep huskies?

I've got the same plans Chips. Except I'm not going to Lake Superior, heck no, too many mozzies in the summer. I'm looking at moving to Calgary most likely. Fairly close to the US for shopping trips for cheap goods, still in a major city and the Rockies aren't too far away, I'll be able to make trips over there on my weekends. And nothing apart from my education is really holding me back, thank God for dual nationality!

Arg, good point, I was going to be a wood carving tree hugging hippy - but calgary = skiing, = me be ski instructor (yes, i can ski - not well enough to teach......yet ). Skiing instructor....hmm - i think i can manage that..

Otherwise it would have to be an "entrepreneur" (but with better spelling), where i would make a crapped out wooden shack and advertise it to the gullable as a "spiritual retreat (leave some mystical wind chimes and bones outside), or charge for people to camp and fish on the lake (course, they wouldn't know that they don't have to pay for it cause i don't own the rights etc), or maybe bottle up lake water and sell it as "Sandstone filtered glacial spring water" - or other such crud

Dual nationality - git, I hear its rather hard to emigrate to Canada unfort.......so it could be many years.......dammit

Post Fri Jun 25, 2004 4:42 am

you could always combine the wood-carving tree-hugging hippy with the ski instructor, and become one of those stoner base-jumping dudes from "Cliffhanger"...?

"charge for people to camp and fish on the lake (course, they wouldn't know that they don't have to pay for it cause i don't own the rights etc), or maybe bottle up lake water and sell it as "Sandstone filtered glacial spring water"

my respect for you has just risen 3-fold, that's a scam worthy of me

/goes off to get clear plastic bottles to be filled with "Staffordshire mineralised domestic spring water" (tap)
