Hardest Mission Of All Time?
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

i smashed through the fleet there by some unconventional means and zipped through the following 2 missions. now at the last.. i think, haven't gone around gathering much survillence (sp?) yet.
anyways my fleet made through the tough encounter (the one i was stuck on) pretty much intact. only had to rebuilt my lower capital class ships 2 times. super cap ships never got knocked out.

A hard mission for me was the second mission with Kanbei in Advance Wars. He came in too fast before I could build up my forces. Then I read some strategy and won, then I had to do the last mission on the whole game and that had overwhelming odds against me. Then I went to a secret mission and by sheer luck won. Another hard thing for me was Baldur's Gate. Somme of the boss areas were really tough, mostly because it was more than one boss but a lot of high level guys waiting to kick your a**. Luckily I did a trick to increase my team's level before the game actually started. That helped but it didn't make me perfect and I still died a lot so I saved before every hard area and I got through the game without dying once, except for one mission where I didn't have a choice.
Esq, you can't go out the WINDOW, or he dies.
I find the most easy was is to hide in the secret closet (Use the code behind the painting , password's 4321, and close it again until everything's silent), and let Paul kill the MiB and UNATCO troopers because he's invunerable to guns/explosions etc . HOWEVER, you will have to face the guys near the door to get out, and Paul mysteriously disappears when the guys in the main room are taken care of, so don't expect any help getting out ........
Once outside, shoot the two guys, and use your GEP Gun on the patrolling robot (You didn't kept it didn't you ? , just thow an EMP or LAM at it to disable/destroy it), and then go to the subway. By now, UNATCO troopers should be closing in, so shut the gate behind you and run down the stairs. By this time, Jock should tell you that UNATCO troopers are closing in on him, and he has to leave battery park. Enter the subway train .......
Now you'll find Paul in Hong Kong (In Tracer Tong's Compund), after you destroy the Universal Constructer. You'll also see him speak to you in Area 51, about Helios and so on .You don't get much for saving him (A few more conversations), but it's worth it for the story about Helios in Hong Kong ........

DIVE DIVE DIVE HIT YOUR BURNERS PILOT!!!
Brings back bad memories
ohh yeah... any mission where the sathanas are involved is a tough mission(to complete all objectives including bonuses).. Memories of FS.. makes me want to hear the destruction sounds of capital ships again.. but i really want to hear Beam sounds charge and fire even more!
argh i'm never gonna get paid, Goodbye a million credits
Actually, now that I think about it, after having played through Call of Duty again, the hardest missions were one: the level right after sabotaging the Eder Dam in the British campaign, and the mission involving driving tanks in the Russian campaign. Most difficult levels indeed. But very fun.
"Violence is the supreme authority from which all other authority is derived."

I thort the British campaign was rather disappointing, apart from the wonderful Pegasus Bridge mission (Hold..Until Relieved.) which for me was the highlight of the game, and it's got a lot of highlights! however the dam missions are just you -again, lots of germans -again, running down corridors -again. The escape from the dams to the airfield is too hard, Stukas do NOT come that close and there's way too many of them, unrealistically too many of them. The Tirpitz looked great and it was at first an interesting and unusual mission then turned into yet another corridor fight with you and hundreds of germans. Fortunately the American and Russian squad based missions more than make up for the overall lack of imagination in the British campaign, although that did pick up in the V2 mission at the end.
ah well its Soldiers:Heroes of WW2 for me in a month, I might pick up Blitzkrieg! too, its a sort of super Sudden Strike. I just played the demos of both and they're solid. In fact I moght get round to finishing Sudden Strike at some point soon.

Have any of you been checking out the mods being made by fans for COD? Some sound promising, and some seem to be featuring forgotten battles and stuff too, which is cool. They will include many new maps and missions from what i understand. Then there looks to be a MP teamwork focused one - where its set in more "modern" day SWAT - with "rescue hostages from bank" missions, and cr/\zy sounding stuff....
There is also one with medics, engineers and stuff too - but that is just for MP interaction by the sounds of it (medic heals team-mates, engineer to clear things etc). They are all a long way off though - but sounds promising
