The First Mobile Phone Virus?
This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

There is an article up at news.com.au that states that the first "mobile phone virus" has been discovered. It is interesting, because I saw this story on the news this evening, and they said that it may be a hoax, just like a number of other hoaxes that have been floating around. Well, I keep warning people about Bluetooth...
the closest thing i have to a cell phone is a cordless but my bro-in-law and sister have cell phones that could be virus sensetive my mom though still has an old analoge cell (not old old just not with the LCD screens) its things like this that made me skeptical about getting the internet or a cell phone (which i won't be getting one anytime soon)
time flies, time to clip it's wings

that's not what I heard, but then mobiles don't really interest me and I try to have as little to do with them as poss.
the eventual result will soon be a combination mobile phone/pda/handheld pc, sort of a super N-Gage, with Vindoze on it, so AV will become as important for your mobile as it is for your PC. I can see h'ware firewalls being built in, and the AV updates will have to be online, ooo think of the airtime expense for a big d'load... I have an old Erisson A2628s, nice design, easy to use (for me, not good with phones) no silly cameras or any of that rubbish, just a straightforward display and big buttons; it does have WAP but I've never enabled it, not exactly a roaring success WAP, was it?
..there is nothing better in life than writing on the sole of your slipper with a biro..

Im a bit the same Taw, I got an T68 a year or so ago. I prefered my old T10 (smaller) but it was shagged so I had to upgrade. The new one has all this bluetooth, web access crap but I only use it for SMS, calls and the occasional game of battleship when Im waiting in line at the motor reg. I'd personally do away with all the fancy crap and just have a teeny phone for the basic needs, I really hate bulgy pockets.
