Looking for an affordable Radeon card

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Looking for an affordable Radeon card

Ok I need to upgrade this *Whispers* GEforce 4 MX 440 to something more powerful, preferably Radeon maybe nVidia. And cheap my budget only extends to around £150

I've been hunting and seen a few XT's I like but I don't know which to buy. Our tech guru's help is needed.

Once the "new line" of graphics cards are out, you should be able to pick up these cards alot cheaper than that.

Damn, they have PERMANENTLY run out, you'll just have to
pick one of the others: OCUK Ati Page

Post Tue Jun 15, 2004 9:50 am

@Aod: Do you think that OCuk are the best or something?

Post Tue Jun 15, 2004 9:56 am

I think he does - just wait till he tries to persuade Mark (the owner) to take something back!

Are you in lil ol Blighty? Either try Ebay, OR, maybe try your local computer exchange (CEX), which sometimes has nicely priced stuff....(second hand obviously for both)

try DABS, Heltak, they're retail prices are reasonable. Or get yo' ass down to a computer fair, there must be some up your way regularly. Don't you live up Fife way, that neck of the woods?
