Passwords. I hate having to change mine, Too hard to remember, so I have to write them down.
I remember reading that the most commonly used password was "fred" many years ago. I wonder if it is still true? In any case, I like passwords. What's the alternative? Barcodes? RFID chips? Retinal scans? My paranoia levels are increasing as I type .

It is always a good idea to use long and complex password for any authentication system.
My non-important passwords are about 15 charactors and contain letters, numbers and symbols.
My important passwords are usally 25-30 charactores long and contain all of the above charactor types. I NEVER write them down anyware for security purposes, I always just remember them.
IF I need to write down some important information, I just encrypt it inside of 3 ZIP files, then 2 rar files with a 50 char password

@His Holiness Esquilaximus I
How many IDs and passwords are we talking about? After a while it gets too ridiculous. E.g.
I have:
Work network ID and PW
Work website ID and PW
Work email ID and PW
Work SQL Database Interface ID and PW
Work remote handheld email ID and PW
Bank Main ID and PW/PIN
Bank Alternate ID and PW/PIN
Bank Wire Transfer ID and PW/PIN
Bank Website ID and PW
Primary credit card ID and PW/PIN
Secondary credit card ID and PW/PIN
Home PC ID and PW
Home email ID and PW
Airline #1 mileage club ID and PW
Airline #2 mileage club ID and PW
Airline #3 mileage club ID and PW
Hotel #1 mileage club ID and PW
Hotel #2 mileage club ID and PW
Rent-a-Car #1 ID and PW
Rent-a-Car #2 ID and PW
I am fast losing track. AND I cannot keep all of these in my head.
