any of you do this?

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

any of you do this?

i was wondering if any of you other forum goers do this:
when i read books, the character descriptions in the book doesnt match what i see in my head...for almost every character. the harry potter books are a prime example. Professor Sname is supposed to have really dark black hair. in my head i see a cool lookin bald dude. i think its kinda wierd that i do that...but oh well...

No not really I have my own view of characters,,, however try picking up Clan of the Cave Bear, I cannot for the life of me picture Ayla, Creb or Iza

Yep I tend to do that too Wolfy.

Do that all the time, then when you see a drawing or other rendering, they look so much differnt.

Yeah I do that a lot too, Then when the movie comes out I'm like"What the heck that's not what they look like".

Thats one thing i was worried about TLR triligy. The books were all very good and i had a mind set of what it was going to look at. I personally think they did a very good job with the casting and what they wore.
As for Potter i've never really caught on to it. I have not had any desire to read the books. I've seen the first movie on a turner coach trip but i slept the first half of it away.

..everyone suffers in silence with burdens, the man who drives minicabs down in Old Compton; the Asian man, with his love-hate affair with this racist lying town..

Ok, this is going OT in OT (not that I object, mind you!). Speaking of SciFi (or F) movies versus books, I was not too much disappointed with LOTR and Harry Potter movies as I was with Starship Troopers: to my mind, this was a desecration of the book (not to speak of ST2 - that one was even worse, based on the game plus some Alien stuff plus horrible acting - disgusting).
