I wouldn't mind visiting it, as I love the cold. But, it is in Fairbanks, which is even colder than that.

just the undertaking to build such a thing is amazing. That and your drinking glasses are made of ice, no need to add ice.

brrr, i'll send the wife, she likes the cold too, that's why we went on holiday to Iceland (the country not the frozen food store)

I stick to nice hot dry places thx. I ought to go on Hajj really.

That should've been a lot of work to build it. They should do it somewhere around the Poles to preserve them - otherwise it's a waste of time, energy and money. But cool.

If I want to sleep somewhere cold I'll fill my bathtub with cold water and sleep there. Building this thing isn't a waste as long as people are willing to stay there. Sure it's going to melt but it's artistic like ice sculptures.

It's all about aesthetics. Still, it would look impressive when staying there, and your social status would go up a few notches if you mentioned yoiur stay in conversation

If it's like some pics I have seen, it was well done on the inside, and the chaneleers were beautiful. It would be just different, like staying in a log cabin or a beduan(sp) tent, a different experiance. It could even be fun.
