ya, i know. kind of thinking my laptop is trashed just like my tower, but my tower is trashed because of 30 viruses my dad gave me. i dont know if the anti viruse would show up in the spyware deal because i had to reinstall it the other day. whats the site you got your program from and ill try it agian, thanks

Thanks heaps guys, luckily, i had a Restore point set just after i gave her administrative rights, so i restored it yesterday afternoon.
Thing is, she reckons she is right because she's dating this IT guy and thinks that he knows more than anyone, and my parents think the same thing, thankfully, i happen to know a few guys that know more than him... (you lot)

yeah i test for my I.T. certification in a few days

don't worry your not the only one thats had trouble like that my sister was responsible for my last computer's breakdown (thats why only i have adminstrator privilages now

Arania, depending on weather she would pay attention to a miss spelled word, create another admin privilage witht he word miss spelled and set what ever privliages to it for her and she might think its the real thing. Just an idea. We had to do this at work for the resident computer as they kept trying to delete the autoexct files and other window files screwing up everything. Now they can touch no files and only save on floppy. Fixed thier little bucket.

If your the main admin, you can modify the privilges she has. Just remove the right to modify files. Either that or work out a truce. Nothing was listed about initials

personly with truces i always found out that they break them anyway and say that they forgot. eather that or that they say there never was an truce. no offince tho

I'm glad I don't have any sisters. Sounds like they're nothing but troublemakers. I don't let anyone touch my computer, at all. My parents have a crappy old computer that they deal and my dad looks up "questionable" content on the Internet, which is the reason for that computer having so many viruses and Trojan Horses. Right now, I'M the computer genius of this house. My dad used to be really good, but he hasn't kept up with technology.

ya, my dad keep bringing home these jpeg and mini movie clips. so now my tower is shot, had to have my stepdad clean out ALL 30 viruses.

iam building the computer for an senior project. was going to try and do quantom physics (cant remember how to spell it off the top of my head), but got talked out of doing that.
